Who we are
Lloyd and Rose Buck train and handle birds for film, television and photography. If you have a question about this notice or about information we hold, please use the details on our contact page.
Information you give us
If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss any work that follows from it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Information collected automatically
If you consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are read most, roughly where visitors are in the world, and whether people find us through a search engine or a link. This tells us what to improve.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. A cookie is a small file that lets the site recognise a returning browser. The information is aggregated: we see patterns across all visitors, not the identity of any individual. Your IP address is handled by Google and is not shown to us.
Analytics only runs if you accept it. Until you choose, no analytics cookies are set. If you decline, none are set at all, and the site works exactly the same.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep things
Enquiries sent through the contact form are kept for as long as they are useful to the working relationship, and deleted when they are not. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
